Zina Rennells, 99 years of age, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 with Family by her side.
Zina was born May 22, 1926 and Havelock Ontario, Canada.From there, her parents immigrated to the United States settling in Batavia New York area, where she became an American citizen and spent her years growing up. After high school she attended Rochester Business Institute for secretarial studies.
In 1944 she was employed at the Massey Ferguson Factory in Batavia where she met her first husband Eldon Blowers they were married on January 19, 1952 and were married for 29 years until Eldon‘s passing in 1981. During those years, they raised two children, Nathan Blowers and Laura Morgan. Zina got remarried in 1984 to Robert Rennells and they remained together until Roberts passing in 2009.
Zina spent many years working with local businesses such as Kozak, RE Chapin and Bob Harris Realty along with several years attending in servicing people at the First Wesleyan Church that was formally located on West Main St. in Batavia.
Zina loved to read her Bible, praying for and with others. She loved serving others and sharing her love and faith for her savior Jesus with all who would listen. She was a devoted, wife, mother, and friend.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her daughter; Laura and her children Jason, Jennifer, Justin (Stephanie) Shaffer, Alicia (Andrew) Brice and Becky (Bo) Morgan; her son Nathan and his wife Heidi, their children Brennan (Tara) Blowers, Hayden Blowers and Deven (Sydney) Blowers, along with several great-grandchildren.
There will be no prior calling hours. A 10:00AM Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 11, 2026 at Northgate Free Methodist Church 8160 Bank St. Rd. Batavia, NY 14020.
