Yolanda Bucceri

Yolanda Bucceri, age 95, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026. Born on November 25, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Art and Amelia Saraceni. She was predeceased by her husband Harry and was the sister of the late Mary, Thomas, Alfred, James “Jeep", Beatrice, Faye, Betty, Germaine and Anne.

Yolanda and her husband were beauticians in Oakfield and also volunteered doing hair at the Genesee County Nursing home. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing, but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are two siblings, Tony (Marcy) Saraceni and Roseanne (Donald) Showler , both of Batavia. She is also survived by two sons, Gary (Christine) Bucceri of Charlotte, NC and Dennis (Mary Ann) Bucceri of Oakfield. Fondly called “Grandma Red”, she leaves behind her grandchildren: Nicki (Nathan) Spang of Charlotte, NC; Christopher (Sierra) Bucceri of San Francisco, CA; Kristen (Thomas) Porter of Oakfield; and Dennis Bucceri of Oakfield, as well as five great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend Yolanda’s Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 20 at 11:00 AM, St Padre Pio Church, 56 Maple Avenue, Oakfield. She will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum in Batavia.
