Timothy "Poppy" Hasson

Timothy “Poppy” Hasson, 60 of Batavia, passed way on Saturday September 27, 2014 at his home under the care of Hospice. He was born on June 16, 1954 in Batavia to the late Thomas (Therese English) Hasson. He is preceded in death by his wife Beverly (Joy) Hasson, daughter Jeri Bartholomew and brother Thomas Hasson. Tim was retired from Rochester General Hospital where he was an electrician. He attended Discovery Chapel and he enjoyed camping. Tim is survived by his fiancée Darlene Martaus of Batavia, sons Craig (Jackie) Alley of Deland, FL; Robert Alley of N. Tonawanda; daughters Beth (Michael) Whaley of N. Tonawanda; Pamela (Gary) Kilgore of Batavia; Sheree (Brian) Barto of Alexander; brother Gerald (Vickie) Hasson of FL; sisters Kathleen (Jerry) Reilley of PA; and Patty (Lou) Angelucci of PA; 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call on Wednesday October 1, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020.
