Stephen E. Mapes

Stephen E. Mapes, 67, of Bergen passed away on Friday December 20, 2019. He was born on May 2, 1952 in Batavia to the late Stephen W. and Olive (Baube) Mapes. Steve Mapes (aka Big Steve) was a kind hearted, loving man. He was an amazing father and papa and eh will be dearly missed by his family and friends. His love for his family was never ending. Big Steve is finally back on his Harley to ride for eternity…Bad Santa flies forever. He is survived by his children; Kyle Mapes, Shalyn Mapes and Nicole Mapes all of Batavia; sisters Vicki Moore of AL., Kathy Harting of Batavia; brother Richard (Cynthia) Mapes of Batavia; ex-wife and mother of his children Cindy Mapes; 7 grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
