Stephen W. Blossom, 77, of Leroy passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at the Orchard Rehabilitation Center in Medina with his family by his side. He was born on March 3, 1949 in Batavia, New York a son of the late Ward and Ruth Blossom.

He proudly served the United States Navy from 1968 to 1970. He worked at the VA Medical Center for 34 years, retiring as the Boiler Plant Supervisor. He was an avid softball player and enjoyed biking and riding his motorcycle. After his retirement, he enjoyed spending time at his cottage on Waneta Lake, fishing, boating, and swimming.

Stephen is survived by his wife; Mary G (Vallone) Blossom; daughter Lisa (Rick) Ferro; sister Pat (late William) Archer of Brownville, NY; brother Paul (Diane) Blossom of Punta Gorda, FL; grandchildren Alishya Blossom, Ian Ferro, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

There will no prior calling hours. He will be laid to rest with Military Honor’s at Western New York National Cemetery 1254 Indian Falls Rd. Corfu, NY 14036 on Tuesday June 23, 2026 at 11:00AM. Anyone planning on attending this Service, please arrive at 10:45AM.
