Shirley B. Tash

Shirley B. Tash, 75 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 5, 2019 at United Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Wellsville, NY on July 16, 1943 to the late Frank (Lucille Hall) Ball. She is preceded in death by siblings Frank Ball Jr. and Irene Cannizzaro. Mrs. Tash loved to garden, wind chimes, hummingbirds and feeding birds. She was an avid Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres and Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were everything to her. Shirley is survived by her beloved husband Leslie G. Tash of Batavia; children Lori Gere of Batavia; Karin Leffel of East Pembroke; Steven Leffel of Corfu; Cheryl McEwen of Medina; Lori McCaffery of Byron; Christy (Tom) Scheuing of LeRoy; Colleen Tash of LeRoy; siblings Duane (Jean) Ball, Rex Ball, LeRoy (Nancy) Ball, Doug Ball, Dave (Jean) Ball, sister-in-law Marcia Ball, 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. There will be no prior calling hours or Funeral Services. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Donor’s Choice.
