Robert V. Emery

Robert V. Emery, 90 of Alexander, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born October 9, 1935 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Ralph and Alice (Young) Emery. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Beverly (Dansevich) Emery; siblings, Ronald, Paul and Judy.

Mr. Emery owned and operated Genesee Data Services in Alexander for many years. He loved working on computers, cars and was constantly tinkering. Robert enjoyed traveling especially with his wife. He would give you the shirt off his back and would drop everything to help you when you needed it.

He is survived by his children, Laurel (Randall) Johnson of Martinsburg, PA, Larry Emery of Batavia, Leslie (Ronald) Stefani of Alexander, Lon (Kathy) Emery of Knoxville, TN, Layne (Debbie) Emery of Crossville, TN; 19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
