History: Raymond W. Scroger, 63 of Alexander passed away on December 12, 2013 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born January 4, 1950 in Batavia to the late Ralph (Leora Fuller) Scroger. Ray was retired from Keeler Construction Company of Albion where he held several positions, most recently Low Boy Equipment Operator and formerly Foreman. Ray’s greatest love was spending time with his family and friends; along with hunting, competition archery, enjoying nature and the outdoors. Ray twice won the New York State Archery Championship as well as many regional and local archery competitions. He is preceded in death by sisters Sharon Oliver and Mary Louise Scroger; brother Ralph Scroger Jr. Survived By: Ray is survived by his beloved wife Paula (West) Scroger of Alexander; children Kimberly Statt of Rochester; Kristi (Sean Emerton) Scroger of Blue Hill, ME; Jeffrey (Janice) Cifelli of LeRoy; Scott (Melanie) Cifelli of Pavilion; Kevin (Amy) Cifelli of Medina; 12 grandchildren; sisters Linda (Douglas) Bentley; Lisa (Robert) Church; brothers Richard (Lita), Gary (Vicki), Dale (Judy), Earl, John (Diane) Scroger; brother-in-law David Oliver; along with several nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
