Pearl M. Campbell

Pearl (Parmelee, Caccamise) Campbell, 97 ½ of Elba, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Monday, July 7, 2025. She was born February 4, 1928 in Oxford, NY to the late Ruth and George Parmelee. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Donald “Corky” Campbell, first husband, John Caccamise Sr, daughter, Diane (Doug) Ridder, grandsons, Johnny Cadieux Jr and Justin Dickes, siblings, Norma Parmelee, Marjorie (James) Cornell, Joseph (Jeanette) Parmelee, Frederick (Bonnie) Parmelee Jr, Ruth (Leonard) Howell, Beatrice (Joseph) Ludorici, George Parmelee, Margureite (William) Parr Frederick, Harry (Linda) Parmelee, Lewis (Mari) Parmelee and Donald (Debbie) Parmelee.

Mrs. Campbell worked for many years as a Nurse’s Aide at the Batavia Nursing Home. She loved to paint and won second place for her oil paintings at the fair. Pearl loved dancing with her husband at country jamborees. She also enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers. The thing that she loved most of all was her family.

She will be missed by her loving children, John Caccamise Jr, Charlene (Edward) Shultz of Elba, Anthony Caccamise and three step-daughters, brother, James A. (Cheryl) Parmelee, sister, Dawn (Henry) Gilmore, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and Kara, her faithful dog.

Friends are invited to call on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 4:00-8:00PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home 329-333 West Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. An 11:00AM Graveside Service will be held at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Elba.
