Patricia A. Brade

Patricia A. (Ferrando) Brade, 75, of Batavia passed away on October 13, 2025 at Premier Genesee Nursing Home. She was born on November 12, 1949 in Batavia to the late Joseph and Helen Ferrando. She is predeceased by her husband; Thomas Brade; brother William Ferrando.

She is survived by her children; James Pursel Jr. (Kathy Antinore) Tina Pursel Lord and Thomas Brade Jr. (Lexie Grimes); siblings Joseph (Diane) Ferrando, Rosemary (Martin) Whelan and sister-in-law Jane Ferrando; 4 grandchildren James Pursel, Andrea (William) Simmons, Ashley (Nick) Manuel and Dylan (Anna) Gosset; 6 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. 

Patricia worked for many years at Kaufman’s Shoe Factory in Batavia. She enjoyed Bingo, playing cards and Pinochle with family. She loved Tom Hanks movies and watching the Hallmark Channel. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

There will be no prior calling hours. A 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday October 18, 2025 at Resurrection Parish 303 E. Main St. in Batavia. She will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.
