Michael P. Falcone

Michael P. Falcone, 97 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 12, 2014 at Rochester General Hospital. He was born on March 17, 1917 in Batavia to the late Joseph (Mary Cecere) Falcone. He is preceded in death by his brothers Carmen (Dorothy), David, Joseph Falcone and a nephew David Falcone. Mr. Falcone was the owner of Falcone Electric up until 3 years ago. He was a lifelong member of Ascension Parish. Mr. Falcone was an avid golfer and with his brother David put on an annual golf tournament for all of their customers as a way of saying thank you at either Terry Hills or Batavia Country Club. God and his business were his life. Mike was a generous benefactor to Christ the King Seminary, Catholic Education, Missions and many Priests. He is survived by his nephews Joseph Jr., Edward (Sandy) and Carmen “Sonny” Falcone. One great-nephew David Falcone, great-niece Christina (Ben) Lingley all of North Carolina. There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday July 17, 2014 with Father David Tourville presiding at Resurrection Parish, 303 East Main Street, Batavia, NY 14020. He will be entombed in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Christ the King Seminary, 711 Knox Road, East Aurora New York 14052.
