Michael J. Dermody

Michael J. Dermody, 56, of Batavia passed away on Thursday February 18, 2016. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 9, 1959. Michael was a United States Navy Veteran. He worked as a printer for Applied Business Systems Inc. in Batavia, which he loved. Mike enjoyed riding his bike, once riding it all the way from Texas to New York. He was very artistic and was an avid reader. He is survived by his parents, Stephen (Joan) Dermody of Bergen; brothers Gregory Dermody of Le Roy, Timothy (Reba) Dermody of Sierra Vista, AZ and a sister Wendy (Chad) Caccamise of Batavia along with several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday February 23, 2016 from 4:00-7:00PM at the Bergen Evangelical Presbyterian Church 38 S. Lake Avenue Bergen, New York 14416 where a Funeral Service will immediately follow calling hours at 7:00PM. Burial will take place at a later date.
