Michael C. Anderson Sr.

Michael C. Anderson, Sr., 73 of Elba, passed away peacefully at home on January 1, 2026. He was born January 15, 1952 in Batavia, to the late Oscar and Ruth (Palone) Anderson. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Carole (Augello) Anderson in 2014, sister-in-law, Lorraine Anderson, brothers-in-law, Charles Augello Jr and Frank “Beech” Augello.

Mike was a quiet man, who enjoyed spending time with his family and the simple things in life.

He is survived by sons, Michael C. Anderson, Jr and Erik P. (Molly) Anderson; grandsons John and Henry Anderson; brothers, Richard (Marianne) Anderson, William (Sue) Anderson, sisters, Mary (Joseph) Ammirati, Diana Radley, Barbara Anderson; brother-in-law, Norman (Linda) Augello, Patrick (Jane) Augello, sister-in-law, Pauline A. Augello, Tamara Augello, along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to a 9:30am Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at St. Padre Pio, 56 Maple Ave, Oakfield, NY 14125. He will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Batavia.
