Maxine F. Dioguardi

Maxine F. Dioguardi, 77, of Batavia passed away on November 19, 2025 at the Gateway House in Attica. She was born on July 22, 1948 in Batavia to the late George and Genevieve (Sformo) Jacobs. In addition to her parents, Maxine is predeceased by her brother; George Jacobs.

She is survived by her husband; Brian K. Dioguardi; sons Brian (Suzanne Forhecz) Dioguardi of Batavia, Brent (Julie) Dioguardi of Batavia, Brad (Soo Jin Park) Dioguardi of Hamburg and Randy (Gretchen Galliford) Dioguardi of Bowmansville; grandchildren Tyler, Brianna and Cody; sister Georgene (Rocco) Dellepenna; brother James (Jennifer) Jacobs of Batavia, along with several nieces and nephews. 

Maxine’s sense of humor and loving demeanor were unforgettable. She spent her life enjoying the things she loved. Throughout her life, Max enjoyed collecting new experiences and building memories; whether she was discussing a book she loved, sharing her passion for her flowers and gardening (leaving behind clear instructions on the care and upkeep of each plant), or cheering on her beloved New York Yankees. She was a proud member of the Resurrection Quilt Ministry. Her beautiful quilts continue to be treasured by family and friends. Max’s love for her husband, sons, and grandchildren was beyond measure. Her guiding and loving presence will be deeply missed by her family. 

There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Ascension Parish, 19 Sumner St. Batavia, NY 14020. She will be laid to rest at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Batavia.
