Maryann F. Delong

MaryAnn F. DeLong, 86 of Batavia, passed away on Tuesday January 1, 2019 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia. She was born on May 6, 1932 to the late Frank (Grace Ashe) Snyder. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband James F. DeLong. Mrs. DeLong worked as an RN at St. Luke’s Manor in Batavia. She was a longtime member of Resurrection Parish, St. Mary’s Church in Batavia. She is survived by her children, Dr. James F. (Linda) DeLong; Michael J. (Heather) DeLong; Gina M. Newman; Barbara A. (Scott) Batz; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. There will be no prior calling hours and services will be held privately for the family. She will be entombed in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum, Batavia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Genesee County Animal Shelter, 3841 West Main Street Road, Batavia, NY 14020.
