Mary C. Tiberio

History: Mary C. Tiberio, 93 of Batavia, passed away on Wednesday July 24, 2013 at the Genesee County Nursing Home. She was born on January 27, 1920 in Batavia to the late Felix (Antoinette Parrinello) Marchese. Mrs. Tiberio worked at Genesee Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a lifetime member of St. Mary’s Church and loved playing cards. She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas L. Tiberio; daughters JoAnn Ray, Caroline Tiberio; brothers Joseph, Samuel and Anthony (Josephine) Marchese; grandson Michael Tiberio. Survived By: She is survived by her children Anthony (Carolyn) Tiberio of FL; Shirley (Richard) Parmenter of Oakfield; brother Louis (Joann) Marchese of Batavia; sisters Rose Antinore, Katherine Cianfrini both of Batavia; Sister’s in law Connie (late Joseph) Marchese of CA; Gloria (late Samuel) Marchese of Batavia; Helen Tiberio of Caledonia; Dolores Tiberio of Rochester. Grandchildren Kelly (Tiberio) Bothe, Corey (Tiberio) LeFevre, Thomas Ray, Eric Ray, Tina Parmenter & Richard Parmenter Jr. 6 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, along with several nieces and nephews. Visitation: Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 28th from 4-7PM at the Funeral Home. Services: Prayers will be recited Monday July 29th at 9:00 AM at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30AM in Resurrection Parish (St. Mary’s site) 18 Ellicott St. Batavia, NY 14020. Burial: Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Batavia. Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Dementia Unit at the Genesee County Nursing Home 278 Bank St. Batavia, NY 14020.
