Mary Ellen Mosman

Mary Ellen (Wilson) Mosman, 88 of Batavia, passed away Sunday January 8, 2017 at United Memorial Medical Center. She was born June 12, 1928 in Buffalo, New York to the late Ellis (Elizabeth Kilbride) Knight. She is preceded in death by a son Timothy Mosman, daughter Judith E. Peterson, twin sister Elizabeth Meredith, brother David Wilson. Mary Ellen was an interior decorator, the president of L.C. Mosman Co. Inc., was an Elementary School Teacher and worked at St. Jerome’s Hospital. She was a member of American Association of University Women and Lioness Club of Batavia. Mrs. Mosman cherished and adored her family. She is survived by her loving husband William L. Mosman of Batavia; daughters Patricia (Donald) Smith of Wilson; Mary (Wayne) Keifman of Grand Island; Ellen (Joaquin) Aymerich of Naples; Nancy (John Corey) Mosman of Williamsville; sons William (Paula) Mosman Jr. of Batavia; Daniel (Karen) Mosman of Boston, MA; son-in-law Jon Peterson of Rochester; 11 grandchildren Zachary Smith, Chelsea (John) Dominick, Mary Kathryn Smith, Ryan Keifman, Kyle Keifman, Timothy Aymerich, Kara (Jose) Reyes, Honora Mosman, Sarah Mosman, Bridget Mosman and Erik Peterson; 2 great-grandchildren Emma Dominick and Evangeline Reyes. A 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday January 12, 2017 at Resurrection Parish 303 East Main Street Batavia, New York 14020.
