Mark J. Amico

Mark J. Amico, 60 of Lockport, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 at Buffalo VA Medical Center. He was born March 14, 1963 in Batavia to Barbara A. (Sallome) Amico of Batavia and the late Joseph R. Amico.

Mark was a proud United States Marine Veteran. He took joy working as a Veterans Benefits Councilor for NYS in Buffalo. Mark, played football in high school and college, he was a big Miami Dolphins Fan “Fins Up”, and he was an avid golfer. Mark loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Corinne A. (Harris) Amico, children, Mark Amico Jr, Katherine Goff, Sarah (Jeremy) Burger, Megan Amico, Nicole (Mitchell) Gaut, Shannon Bonadonna, brothers, Richard and Joseph Amico, six grandchildren, Kennedy, Oakley, Addison, Logan, Ryan and Jacob, along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday, July 20 from 3 to 7pm at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street, Batavia, New York 14020. A Celebration of His Life will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 at the Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Western New York National Cemetery, Corfu.
