History: Marilyn J. Colantonio, 80 of Batavia, passed away on Friday December 6, 2013 at the New York State Veterans Home in Batavia. She was born June 22, 1933 in Albion to the late Leo (Lena Balester) Ludwick. Mrs. Colantonio was a graduate of Albion High School and St. Jerome’s School of Nursing in Batavia. She was a Registered Nurse having worked for Dr. Baker, Dr. Lee, Dr. Bissell and retired from Dr. Ahmed’s office in Batavia. Mrs. Colantonio was a member of Ascension Parish and the Altar and Rosary Society of the Church. She enjoyed collecting antiques having belonged to the Tonawanda Valley Collectors Club, she loved to go to the casino, camping and bowling. She also loved spending time with her family especially her great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Carol Ann Colantonio in 1962. Survived By: Mrs. Colantonio is survived by her husband of 59 years Raymond B. Colantonio of Batavia, whom she married on June 19, 1954, son Raymond (Karen) Colantonio of Arizona, daughter June (Randy) Boyce of Oakfield NY. 2 Grandchildren Kimberly (Herk) Handsaker and Anthony (Samantha) Colantonio both of Arizona, 2 step grandchildren Brittany & Shannon, 2 great-grandchildren Kayley & Hunter Handsaker of Arizona, survive along with many nieces and nephews.
