Marilyn J. Beedham

History: Marilyn J. Beedham, 83 of Attica, passed away on Friday September 20, 2013 at the United Memorial Medical Center. She was born January 7, 1930 in Batavia to the late Raymond (May Graham) Sprague. Mrs. Beedham worked as an Aide in the maternity department at the United Memorial Medical Center and then worked as a Home Health Care Aide. She was an avid bingo and card player that loved to crochet. She is preceded in death by her husband George Edward Beedham in 2006; son Kevin; brother Richard Sprague; two sisters Virginia Willis and Barbara Hamm. Survived By: Marilyn is survived by her sons Dennis (Dayle) of Oakfield; Michael (Janice) of Attica; Brian (Cyndi) Beedham of Attica; sister Betty (Arnold) Tiede of Batavia; 11 grandchildren Dennis, Zachary Pope; Jen (Haven Armstrong) Beedham; Jamie (Ryan) Rada; Corey (Kristine) Beedham; Amanda (Mark) Rajewski; Lisa, Nicholas, Meridith, James and Hailey Beedham; 2 great-grandchildren Jacob and Hannah Pope along with many nieces and nephews. Visitation: There will be no prior calling hours. Services: Friends are invited to attend a 10:30 AM Funeral Service on Tuesday September 24, 2013 at the Trinity United Methodist Church 75 Main St. Attica, NY 14011. Burial: Interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery, Batavia. Memorials: In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wyoming County SPCA 808 Creek Rd. Attica, NY 14011.
