Margaret J. "Maggie" Worth

Margaret J. “Maggie” Worth, 98, of Albion formerly of Batavia, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026 at the Villages of Orleans. She was born in Batavia on September 4, 1927 to the late Samuel and Marie (Michetti) Peca.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her loving husband; Jerry Worth; sisters and brothers Jenny (Dominic) Irrera, Anthony (Theresa Peca), Florence (Donald) Lullo, Rose (Paul) Monachino, John Peca; Brothers in law Jack (Jane) Worth, Paul (Rose) Worth and goddaughter Candy Worth.

Maggie is survived by beloved daughters; Trish (Peter) Wollke, Mimi Worth (Tom); grand pup Ivy; granddaughter Lauren; grand pup Benji; sister Julia Scalia, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Maggie was a long time Payroll Supervisor for Western New York OTB in Batavia. She was an avid bowler, traveling to many tournaments throughout the country, and also known and loved throughout family and friends for her famous Christmas cookies. She will be greatly missed by all.

There will be no prior calling hours. An 11:00AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday May 1, 2026 at Resurrection Parish 303 East Main St. (St. Joseph’s site) Batavia, NY 14020. She will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.
