Katherine G. Waldron

Katherine G. Waldron (Kedzierski), 53, of Holley, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025 at UMMC Hospital in Batavia. She was born on February 24, 1972 in Batavia to Eugene & Karen (Simpson) Kedzierski.

She is survived by her husband, John F. Waldron; her two adoring children Ethan J. Waldron & Brooke K. Waldron and her faithful golden retriever, Oliver (OJ), who was always by her side. She was also survived by her brother Jeff (Helen) Kedzierski and brother Mike (Kate) Kedzierski; and mother-in-law, Cynthia Waldron. Her greatest joy was her family, they were her whole world and she poured her heart into caring for them.

Whether it was cheering the kids on from the sidelines, taking long walks with OJ, spending the summers in the pool, tending to her gardens or car rides to Lake Ontario. Her home was a sanctuary that they built from the ground up. It was full of blooming flowers, fresh vegetables, the smells of homemade meals, and the quiet love of a woman who found beauty in life’s simple moments with her family.

Kathi had what many called “the caring gene”, as she worked as a CNA at LeRoy Village Green for 29 years and enjoyed caring for her residents. She ended her career at Holley Central School District. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan. You would find her in her Bills gear most days and rooted for them every Sunday. Go Bills!

Her family and friends will hold her close in their hearts and are forever grateful for the time they shared with her.

There will be no prior calling hours. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Kathi by planting flowers in your garden, to remember her by. To leave an online message of condolence please visit www.gilmartinfuneralhome.com. Arrangements completed by Gilmartin Funeral Home, 329-333 West Main Street, Batavia, New York 14020.
