Joseph C. Wenzel

Joseph C. Wenzel, 86, of Batavia, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. He was born June 9, 1935 in Blossburg, PA to the late Carl and Sylvia (Linderberg) Sanders. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. (Lenhard) Wenzel, children, Joseph Jr and Jonathon Wenzel, Mary Francis. Mr. Wenzel is an avid outdoorsman that loved to fish. He was a proud member of the National Guard. Joe enjoyed working on his home and gardening. He is survived by his children, Joan Szatkowski, Sharon (Dean Cadieux) Lyke, Jimmy (Stephany) Wenzel, Jeffrey (Joanne) Wenzel, Jennifer (Ross) Jarvela, Jodiann (Jim) Battistella, Jolene Morales, Heidi Schollard, Karen (Larry) Corp, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be no prior calling hours, services will be held privately. He will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery, Batavia.
