Joseph A. Brudz

Joseph A. Brudz, 82 of Darien Center, passed away on March 18, 2014 at his home. He was born in Buffalo on October 27, 1931 to the late Paul (Caroline Koziol) Brudz. He is preceded in death by his wife Esther (Glowniak) Brudz; siblings Pauline Brudz, John, Leo and Thaddeus Brudz. Mr. Brudz was a retired Mechanical Designer after 30 years from Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation. He served in US Army Corps of Engineers in Europe during the Korean Conflict. Survived by sisters Florence Jarnot of Cheektowaga; Bernice Spyra of Cheektowaga; Emily Janiga of West Seneca; sons Mark (Colleen McMahon) Brudz of Batavia, Timothy (Rita Shriock) Brudz of Attica; daughter Amy (Edwin) Wenck of Indianapolis, IN; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. An 11:00 AM Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Council Church, 10675 Allegheny Rd, Darien Center on Friday April 11, 2014. Memorials may be made directly to the church.
