John F. Lowery Sr.

John F. Lowery Sr., 70, of Stafford, passed away on Thursday July 7, 2016 at the Buffalo VA Medical Center. He was born in Point Breeze, NY to the late Bertram and Myrtle (Snyder) Lowery. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by several brothers and sisters John was a proud United States Navy Veteran. He was a retired farmer who loved to work the land. John was a good man who will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife; Muriel “Rusty” (Gill) Lowery of Stafford; children John Jr., Shannon (Chris), Frank, Guy (Penny) and Misty Steffan all of Albion, Tammy (Ed) Mairs of Albion, Judy Lowery of Knowlesville; a brother Jim (Juanita) Lowery of Hilton; sisters Lucy (Marv) Gill of Zanesville, OH and Alberta (Richard) Allen of Hamlin along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. There will be no prior calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. He will be laid to rest in Lakeview Cemetery in Groveland.
