Jeannette E. Morley

Jeannette E. Morley, 99, of Batavia passed away on September 28, 2018 at the United Memorial Medical Center. She was born on September 20, 1919 in Mt. Morris to the late John Smith and Mildred (Brill) Stanton. In addition to her parents, Jeannette is predeceased by her husband; Ward A. Morley; daughter Carol Gordon; brother Sheldon Smith; friend and companion Butch Reading. Jeannette was a long time teacher at Corfu-Pembroke Central Schools. She was active with the Pembroke Retired Teachers and the Oakfield Community Church. She is survived by her son; Alan (Linda) Morley of Victor; son-in-law Wallace Gordon of Penn Yan; brother John (Lynda) Brill of Sarasota, FL.; 4 grandchildren Craig (Valerie) Morley of Pittsford, Rebecca (Greg Miller) Morley of MD., Sara (Ken) Tyler of TX., and Scott (Michelle) Gordon of MI.; 10 great-grandchildren along with 6 nieces and nephews. There will be no prior calling hours and Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
