James R. McNally

James R. McNally, 63 of Batavia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Crossroads House. He was born April 23, 1963 in Batavia, to the late Leo and Shirley (Wood) McNally. He is preceded in death by brother Thomas and brother-in-law Frank Glow.

James worked for years at Salvania’s Restaurant. He was an enthusiastic train watcher and enjoyed baking. James was an extremely kind hearted man and loved his family dearly.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Crossroads House for the extraordinary love and care they showed James.

He is survived by half brother, Michael (Michelle) McNally, half sister, Maureen (Darryl Sehm) Glow, aunts, Joan Wood and Mickey Wood; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to an 11:00am Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at First United Methodist Church, 8221 Lewiston Road, Batavia, New York 14020. He will be laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery, Batavia.
