Jalene Louise Dunphy

Jalene Louise Dunphy, 80, of Batavia, New York, was called to heaven on December 17, 2025. She was a devoted mother and friend who will be deeply missed.

Born on February 23, 1945, in Wichita Kansas, Jalene was known for her warmth, kindness, and quiet humor. After many years of working at Batavia’s Town & Country, she chose a quiet, simple life, finding meaning in everyday moments and close connections. She enjoyed winter travels to Phoenix, Arizona, and spending time with her family.Jalene was an avid baker, known for her pumpkin cookies and fudge. She put those talents to good use as a restaurant owner in Arizona and Colorado.When not in the kitchen baking, Jalene could be seen outdoors tending to her flowers and yard.

Those left to cherish her memories include her sons Jeffery, James, Jason, and daughter Jalena. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Carroll and her cherished dogs Sassy and Dora.

In keeping with her quiet life, no services will be held.
