Gloria Ames, 87, of Batavia passed away unexpectedly Monday July 7, 2014 at Genesee County Nursing Home. She was born on June 29, 1927 in Corning, New York to the late Thomas and Dorothy (Jones) Traynor. She is preceded in death by her husband Terrance Ames. Gloria enjoyed spending time with her daughter and two granddaughters. She also had a love for animals. She is survived by her Daughter Marlene Ames of Batavia, and granddaughters Jasmine and Shana Williams of Batavia. There will be no prior calling hours.
