George F. Henry

History: George F. Henry, 77 of Batavia, passed away on January 14, 2014 peacefully at his home. He was born on December 6, 1936 to the late Wilson (Eleanor Nagel) Henry. George worked at the State School for the Blind for many years. He was a long standing member at the Calvary Baptist church in Batavia. George enjoyed fishing, reading and playing Euchre. He is preceded in death by his wife Charlene (Kirk) Henry; two sisters, Patricia and Susan. Survived By: Survivors include his children David (Dora) Henry of Stafford; Daughters Ruth Spedding of Lockport; Catherine (John) Newton of Kendall; sister Sharon Thompson of Watkins Glen. Visitation: Friends are invited to call on Friday January 17, 2014 from 4-7 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church located at 3515 Galloway Rd, Batavia, NY 14020. Services: Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Saturday January 18, 2014 at the Calvary Baptist Church. Burial: He will be laid to rest in the Calvary Baptist Cemetery.
