Frank C. Olivieri Jr.

Frank C. Olivieri Jr., 62, of Batavia passed away on May 6, 2026 at Strong Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 18, 1963 in Batavia to the late Frank C. Olivieri Sr and Lucille (Fenello) Olivieri of Batavia. Frank is predeceased by his brother in law David Cecere.

Frank had a magnetic presence with a beautiful smile that would instantly light up any place he entered. He really enjoyed writing and had a special way of telling a story or joking around that would captivate the whole room.

Family was everything to Frank always willing to find a reason to have get together and carry on old family traditions. He was very proud of his heritage and expressed it in his cooking. No one went away hungry and if they did, it was your own fault.

Frank also really enjoyed the outdoors, dabbling in photography to capture the beauty of it all. He had a great passion for arts, enjoying the galleries, plays, movies and especially music. He was fascinated with instruments for all types of music, rarely missing a concert, Orchestra or even a good opera. Frank was a private investigator. He also started his own Trucking business called Olivieri Trucking.

He is survived by his loving wife; Mary Ann (Cecere) Olivieri; siblings Gino (Janet) Olivieri of Dansville, Lisa Suozzi of Batavia; in laws James (Susan) Cecere of Rochester, Richard (Debra) Cecere of Victor, Thomas (Donna) Cecere of Buffalo and Patrick Cecere of Batavia, along with many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Wednesday May 13, 2026 from 4:00-7:00PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home 329-333 West Main St. Batavia, New York 14020. A 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday the 14th at Resurrection Parish 303 E. Main St. in Batavia. He will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum.
