Eugene L. Stupp

Eugene L. Stupp, 90, of Batavia passed away on March 18, 2026 at Rochester General Hospital. He was born on December 17, 1935 in Miamisburg, OH to the late Chester and Helen (Bailey) Stupp. In addition to his parents, Eugene is predeceased by his loving wife; Harriett Stupp in 2001; brother Dale Stupp; sister Donna Lee Booth and brother in law; Tim Wright.

Eugene was a United States Army Veteran. He worked for many years in the Equipment Rental business retiring in 2011 from Admar Supply. He was an avid member of the Mason’s, the VFW, American Legion and the Elks Club. Eugene loved to read, gardening and playing Texas Hold Em poker. Throughout his life he owned many businesses mostly in Ohio, but some may remember him being the owner of the Triangle Liquor Store here in Batavia.

He is survived by his son; David (Jessica Radam) Stupp of Batavia; Jess’s boys Jadyn and Noah; sister in law Sarah Brown of CA.; brothers in law Charlie Wright of OH, Michael Brown of OH; nephews Chris (Grace) Brown of CA, Tim (Marisa) Wright of OH; niece Patti Salazar of TN; special friends Al, Carrie, Ava Davids; lifelong friend Mary Marchese; Grandpaw to Bronx and Brooklyn, along with many other nieces and nephews.

All are invited to call on Tuesday March 24, 2026 from 11:00AM-1:00PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home 329-333 West Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. A 1:00PM Funeral Service will follow visitation at the Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery.
