Douglas F. Reamer

Douglas F. Reamer, 67, of Batavia passed away on Wednesday February 22, 2017 at the Hildebrandt Hospice Center in Greece. He was born on March 30, 1949 in Batavia to the late Willis and Laura (Cummings) Reamer. Doug was a United States Army Veteran then was employed for over 40 years at Graham Manufacturing in Batavia. He was a truly devoted husband, father and grandfather that never missed a sporting event or school function that involved his children and more recently his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years Karen (Quagliano) Reamer of Batavia; children Melissa (Ryan) Gaebler, Matthew (Katherine Lefler) Reamer and Danielle (Josiah) Smith; sister Marcia Nesbit; Aunts Lucille Lowden and Joyce Nichols; grandchildren Cameron, Brianna and Gabriel Smith and Alexis Reamer; along with his nephew Clayton Nesbitt. There will be no prior calling hours. A 2:00PM Memorial Service will be held on Sunday March 5, 2017 at the Oakfield United Methodist Church 2 South Main St. Oakfield, NY 14125 where Military Honors will take place immediately following the service.
