Deborah L. Swabb

Deborah L. Swabb, 68, of Oakfield passed away on May 12, 2022 at Unity Hospital in Rochester. She was born on February 27, 1954 in Batavia to the late Elbert and Doris (Ostrowski) Ashton. In addition to her parents, Deborah is predeceased by her siblings; Leona (Ray) Benson, Elbert (Linda) Ashton Jr., Patricia (John) Morris. Our mother always put us kids first growing up. She was full of life and always cared for others. Her family was a very important part of her life. She loved joking around and would do puzzles in her spare time. She was the kind of women that would give you her shirt of her back. Anyone that knew her could always count on picking up the phone and having a great conversation with her, never a dual moment! She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her loving husband; John E. Swabb of Oakfield; son Nathan Allen of Batavia; daughter Darcia Bailey of NC; siblings Marcia (Joe) Palmer of Batavia, Andrea (Bob) Rindell of Corfu, Norma (Jim) Padilla of TX., and Doddie (John) McMillan of Batavia; grandchildren Natalie Allen, Destiny Bailey, Anthony Allen, Darrius Bailey and Makayla Bailey, along with 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
