Dean E. Nichols

Dean E. Nichols, 85 of Bergen, died Thursday February 6, 2014 at his home surrounded by family. He was born April 6, 1928 in East Bethany to the late Floyd (Charlotte Adams) Nichols. Mr. Nichols was a United States Army Veteran. He worked for many years at Trojan in Batavia and was a member of Stone Church Presbyterian. He is preceded in death by his first wife Dorothy J. Nichols. Mr. Nichols is survived by his beloved wife Jeanne E. (Callan) Nichols of Bergen; sons Robert D. (Lisa) of Riga; Douglas F. (Martha) of Stafford; daughter Barbara J. of Barker; step children Edward (Barbara) of Batavia; James (Mary Jean) of IL; Laura (Patrick) of Bennington; David (Mary), Charles (Maria), Timothy all of Batavia; 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call on Sunday February 9, 2014 from 2 to 4 PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020. Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. He will be laid to rest in Stone Church Cemetery, Bergen.
