David L. "Dirty" Mccurdy

David L. “Dirty” McCurdy, 76, of Batavia passed in peace on January 22, 2019 at Unity Hospital with his children and loving wife of 49 years by his side. He was born on December 24, 1942 in Batavia to the late George and Gladys (Weed) McCurdy. In addition to his parents, Dave is predeceased by his brother; Douglas McCurdy. Dave was a veteran of the Air Force who loved golfing, the Buffalo Bills, and a good Manhattan. We will miss his quick humor and wit. He is survived by his wife; Elizabeth (Merry) McCurdy of Batavia; children Katherine (Thomas) Willette of Penfield and John (Laura) McCurdy of Webster; sisters Gloria Olmsted of Buffalo and Dorothy Spear of Glenfield, NY; sister-in-law Patty McCurdy of Cato, NY; grandchildren Clare, Emma, Audrey, Ian and Aren, along with many nieces and nephews. There will be no prior calling hours. All are invited to attend a 12:00PM Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday January 26, 2019 at Resurrection Parish, 18 Ellicott St. Batavia, NY 14020. Dave will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Batavia.
