Dannis J. Blanco

Dannis J. Blanco, 62, of Batavia passed away on Tuesday May 3, 2016 at Rochester General Hospital. He was born on June 13, 1953 in Niagara Falls, New York to the late Jose Blanco and Ardella (Earl Tatro) Smith. In addition to his parents, he predeceased by his sister Kathy Dauber. Dannis worked for many years as a lineman for a cable company. He loved fishing and laws always laughing and joking. He was a free spirit who loved traveling to many places. To his friends and co-workers he was known as “Rhinestone” a Lone Wolf who howled at the moon. He is survived by 3 daughters; Jamie (Chris) Constantine of PA, Lisa Blanco of Niagara Falls, NY, Tracy (Waylon) Miller also of Niagara Falls; past love Shirley Campbell of Niagara Falls; brothers William Blanco of Niagara Falls, Bronco Blanco of Batavia and Jessie (Bobby) Blanco of N.C.; sisters Gail Carpenter of Batavia, Sandra (Scott) Ohlson of East Bethany, Levine Scroger of N.C and Angela Blanco of Batavia; 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 1 great granddaughter and 1 great grandson along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
