Catherine E. Peet

Catherine E. Peet, 67, passed away on August 1, 2026. She was born on November 4, 1958 to the late Harry R. Ambrose Jr. and Ann K. Ambrose of East Pembroke. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her son; Michael Peet and granddaughter Addie Burns.

She is survived by daughter Kimberly (Brandon) Burns of Pembroke, son Kevin Peet of Batavia, sister Theresa (Mark) Vanderwall of Webster, sister Patricia (Mark) D’Aurizio of West Henrietta, Grandchildren Hailey, Eliana, Nathan and Brayden Burns of Pembroke, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cathy will be remembered most for the love she had for her family. A devoted mother, she dedicated her life to raising her children. She was a hardworking woman whose kindness touched many lives, first through the children she lovingly cared for in her in-home daycare and later during her many years of service at Willow Group. Cathy took great pride in her home, creating a place filled with love and comfort for those around her. She also treasured traveling with her family and making lasting memories together. Her strength, compassion, and dedication to those she loved will be remembered always, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

There will be no prior calling hours or Services. Cathy will be laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum in Batavia.
