Carol A. Hendershott

Carol A. Hendershott, 81 of Batavia, passed away on Friday, October 9, 2026 peacefully at her home. She was born February 6, 1945 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late John and Eva Berdy. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Roger K. Hendershott and sister Barbara Macey.

Carol retired after many years from Oakfield-Alabama Central School District. She loved light houses, doing ceramics, crocheting, reading, camping and going on vacation. Carol loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.

She is survived by her son John Hendershott of Batavia, Philip (Alice) Hendershott of Medina, brother Daniel Macey of Falconer, grandsons, Daniel and Zachary of Medina, along with several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Friday, October 16, 2026 from 4 to 7pm at Gilmartin Funeral Home. A 7:00pm Celebration of her life will immediately follow.
