Betty J. Worthington, 71 of Batavia, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday August 20, 2016 at Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw. She was born May 16, 1945 in Robinson, PA to to the late David (Freda Johns) Little. She is preceded in death by a grandson Justin Jacobs. Mrs. Worthington owned Betty’s Ceramics where she not only sold ceramics but taught classes as well. She enjoyed country music, canning, cooking, baking, and traveling especially long rides in the country. Betty loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her beloved husband John S. Worthington of Batavia; daughters Winifred (Scott) Gildner of Alexander; Anna (Ray) Patnode of Batavia; Patty Jacobs of Alexander; son Ken (Bonnie) Worthington of FL; siblings Mary Graham, Winnie Wawrzyniak, David (Chiquita) Little all of Batavia; Paul (Linda) Little of Elba; Patty Little of Batavia; 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call on Tuesday August 23, 2016 from 4 to 8 PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main St. Batavia, New York 14020. An 11:00 AM Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday August 24, 2016 at the Funeral Home.She will be laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery, Batavia. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Genesee Cancer Assistance 16 Bank St. Batavia, NY 14020.
