“Babe” Alexander Catino passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. His passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Babe was a devoted husband, father; grandfather, brother, stepfather, and friend. He was the kind of man who would drop everything to help someone in need and who treasured every moment spent with his family. He was known for his sense of humor, his unforgettable laugh, his storytelling, and the love he showed to everyone around him.
He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren, whether it was attending their games, taking them for rides in his golf cart at the camper, or simply sitting together talking and laughing. His family will forever cherish the memories of his jokes, his larger-than-life personality, and the way he made everyone around him feel loved.
Even during his final days, Babe’s greatest concern was comforting his family. He reassured them not to worry about him and spoke with peace about what was ahead. His strength, love, and selflessness will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Catino; his sons, Jesse Catino and Scott McMahon, Daughter-in-law Loralee McMahon; his daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Steve Cotter; his brother, James Catino; his grandsons, Gage Catino and Mason Cotter; his granddaughters, Khloe and Hailey Cotter, Maddy and Claire McMahon; his sisters-in-law, Karen Kennedy and Jackie Ryan; his brother-in-law, John Ryan; as well as many extended family members and dear friends.
The family would like to thank everyone who supported them throughout Babe’s illness and during this difficult time.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
