Ann L. Perfitt

Ann L. Perfitt, 84, of Oakfield passed away on Wednesday (June 24, 2026) at Leroy Village Green Nursing Home. She was born April 2, 1942 in Batavia to the late Donald and Martha (Robinson) Landon. She is reunited with her late beloved husband of 59 years, Douglas C. Perfitt; and she preceded in death by her two brothers and sister in laws, Robert (Betty) and Richard (Lucy) Landon.

A nurse by training, Ann devoted over 25 years to compassionately caring for others, a reflection of her generous spirit. She found joy in singing with the Crossroads of Harmony and the art of flower arranging, along with being an avid library goer and always having a crossword puzzle book in hand. Her family will treasure memories of her teaching card games and her passion for celebrating every holiday filling her home with festive décor. Ann will be deeply missed by her family, her dear friends, and her grand/great-grand pets (13 dogs, 5 cats, and one very lucky bunny).

She is survived by her five children: Mark (Diane) Perfitt of IN; Nora (the late Patrick) Botsford of CA; Amy (Jim) Klos of Oakfield; Kim (Alan) Sumeriski of TN; and Eric (Lee Ann) Perfitt of Oakfield. She was loved by her twelve grandchildren: Tyler (Jay), Bradley (Hannah) and Andrew (Sabrina) Perfitt; Brooke (James) Persinger; Ryan and Chad (Zoe) Botsford; Katie Klos; Kasey and Alicia Sumeriski; Brynne (Kevin) Fortuna; Brett Perfitt and McKenzie (Jesse) Gleason; as well as, two great-grandchildren, Beatrice Perfitt and Jack Persinger along with several nephews and cousins.

The family will plan a private celebration of life at a later time.
