Alonzo S. Holmes

Alonzo S. Holmes, 58, of Rochester passed away on August 13, 2015 at Rochester General Hospital. He was born on August 21, 1956 in Hainus City, Florida to the late Ernest Holmes and Ernestine Childs. Alonzo was in a band and loved to sing. He loved to work on houses especially doing carpentry and electrical work. He is survived by his children Marquis Holmes of Batavia; daughter Jaz’mine Holmes of Batavia; brother Richard Holmes of Florida; sister Cleo Taylor of Batavia along with many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call on Tuesday August 25, 2015 from 11 to 12 Noon at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc. 329-333 West Main Street Batavia, New York 14020.
