Aaron Saddler Sr.

Aaron Saddler Sr., 90, formerly of Batavia passed away on June 3, 2026 at the Leroy Village Green. He was born on April 16, 1936 in Montgomery, TX to the late JC and Ella (Grays) Saddler. Aaron is predeceased by this wife Bernice (Thomas) Saddler; daughter Shirley (Otha) Johnson; son Bilal Muhammad; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Mr. Saddler worked as a construction worker for Cold Spring Construction in Akron for roughly 50 years before retiring at the age of 72. He was an Avid Buffalo Bills and New York Knicks fan. His legacy will be remembered for always being an amazing family man, who hosted cookouts on every holiday, never turning anyone away from joining their family gatherings.

He is survived by his children Aaron (Virginia) Saddler Jr.; Ella Louise Saddler; Jerry (Charlene) Saddler and Robert Saddler, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends are invited to call from 9:00-10:00AM on Saturday June 20th at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 516 Ellicott St. Batavia, New York 14020. A Celebration of his life will immediately follow 10:00 AM at the church. He will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery, Batavia.
