Obituary for Howard Ribaud

Howard Ribaud, 92, of Cary, NC, died Monday March 4, 2019 at his residence. He was born on June 7, 1926, a son of the late Louis and Anna Kurtz Ribaud.

A retired engineer, he was a longtime resident of Lakewood, CO and native of Rochester, NY. Howard was an avid skier, outdoorsman and sports car enthusiast. He served in the Navy during WW II. Howard was a lifelong bachelor, a jokester, a generous and caring Uncle.

Howard is survived by two nieces; Jeanne Kofsky (Robert) of Cary, NC and Claire Ribaud (Douglas Yook) of Eugene, OR; two nephews, Lynn Ribaud of Sugar Grove, IL and Marc Ribaud of Alameda, CA as well as one great niece, Janice Kofsky, and two great nephews, Robert and Stephen Kofsky.

There will be no prior calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday March 14, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church 23 Church St. Silver Springs, NY 14550. Howard will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Silver Springs.
